In “Takin’ Care of Business: The BIG IDEA for Small Business,” you’ll learn the one critical element that determines success or failure for a small business. In addition to strategies and tactics to help you succeed, this book features inspirational stories of ordinary, everyday folks who’ve turned their businesses around and are now enjoying the good life.

Business experts Brian Buffini and Joe Niego realized that even though small businesses are at the heart of our economy, there isn’t much hands-on training out there for the person who was brave enough to bet on them self and open a business. They both know how quickly you can find yourself adrift, facing challenges you couldn’t have foreseen.

To counter those challenges and provide small businesses with a clear roadmap to success, the two entrepreneurs and authors took their experience and learning and distilled it into "The Big Idea for Small Business."

“Owning a business is not like having a job,” says Buffini. “With a job you have structure, support, training. Owning a business…you’re all on your own!”

“Both Brian and I have owned many businesses over the years,” added Niego, “and through trial and error have refined the process to the point where we know what it takes to succeed. You’ll learn how to find the right marketing strategy for your business, create clients for life and manage your finances while reaping the benefits of working by referral.”

If you have your own business, this book is for you. It addresses the challenges you face, the things you must do to survive and the tools and tactics you’ll need to build a business you can be proud of.

You’ve had the bravery to risk so much by opening your own business. Don’t risk any more by missing the proven wisdom inside this book!

About Joe Niego

Joe Niego grew up in a blue-collar family on the south side of Chicago. Along the way he has owned a mortgage company and a real estate brokerage; he’s also been a pro athlete and a real estate investor. As a youngster, he worked in his family cement business where he learned that the quality of your work is the best possible advertising. Niego attended Lewis University and played basketball alongside his three brothers. Although he majored in marketing, his ultimate dream was to play in the NBA and in 1987 he was the second draft choice of the Houston Rockets.

At the end of his playing career, Niego put the same drive and determination into his real estate career. He excelled in the industry and quickly became one of the top real estate agents in the United States. Three times in his career he sold 30 homes in 30 days! (The average Realtor sells six homes a year!)

In 1994, he opened Niego Real Estate ( and has served more than 2,500 families on the south side of Chicago. Joe has mastered the Working by Referral system not only to build a great real estate career but also to become a great businessman.

He began speaking and training on behalf of Buffini & Company in 2002 and has become one of the most sought-after presenters in the small-business world.
